This is my absolute favorite season because I am able to wear chunky knits and wool coats while, walking around freely without sweating like crazy. Here is a list of my current favorite items for Fall of 2019!
I first saw this brown-toned eyeshadow quad when I visited Hawaii during the summer. The shimmer shades immediately caught my attention, as I am a huge fan of glitter eyeshadows. They are extremely pigmented and not flakey. My heart was set on this palette and I tried to purchase it at the time in Nordstrom but it was sold out. Fast forward a few months, it was still difficult to get my hands on this palette in stores, even in New York. I finally decided to purchase it on the Charlotte Tilbury website, along with this popular shade of lipstick: Pillow Talk. The Superstar Lips version of Pillow Talk has a beautiful glossy application and moisturizes the lips! All items come with complimentary free shipping (2-3 business days) and if you are a new customer, you are able to get 10% off your purchase when you get on the landing page.
I purchased this wool coat from Aritzia last fall and it is still my #1 favorite coat. I am petite (5’2), and this coat is the perfect length for me. It hits slightly below my knees and I believe that the length is very flattering. The fabric of the wool is of very high quality and it is very soft. It is not itchy whatsoever, like some other wool coats. This style layers beautifully on top of blouses like I have styled it and also sweaters. I can see myself reaching for this specific coat when it gets a bit colder.
I recently purchased this coat from Mango when I was searching for a nice blazer. Instead, I saw this light cream wool coat and completely disregarded the blazer search. This is somewhat a more affordable version of the Aritzia Stedman coat - the price is halved. It is also slightly shorter, as it hits the knee area. The fabric might even be softer than the other coat. I am excited to wear this coat in the upcoming months! There is a 30% off sale going on right now - use the code COLUMBUS19 at checkout!
These leather loafers from Madewell look stunning and professional, while being very comfortable. I noticed that these best-sellers had many highly-rated reviews. I typically walk around 2-4 miles and I can confirm that these are comfortable enough for everyday wear. They also require little to no break-in time, as many reviewers have said. A perk is that students and teachers are eligible for a 15% discount at Madewell!
These flats from Birdies are an even more comfortable pair of shoes, which is probably why it is Meghan Markle approved. Once you feel the cushioning that is lining the interior of the shoe, your feet will probably thank you. They have 7 layers of support for your feet! The velvet styles have recently decreased in price, possibly because they released leather styles, which are more expensive. These look great with any outfit and keep your feet comfortable as well.
